SEWING PROJECT: The Batman Cape ~ FINALLY FINISHED!!!

If you follow me on Facebook, you've heard me talk and talk about the progression of Noah's Batman cape.  I wanted to make one that was different from every other one you see out there, so I found one off of another website (without instruction) and completely redesigned it for Noah.  I added a few of my own touches and additions and I am SO excited with the results!!!

  1. Hi!
I was wondering if I could ask you how much fabric you used per side for this cape. I am trying to make a batman cape for my three year old nephew for Halloween. When I showed him this cape (google search) he told me this is "exactly" what he wants. lol. So any help/info you can throw my way would be appreciated. Thank you! Veronica

  2. I think it was about 1 yard per side. I measured from palm to palm and added a couple of inches. Then I measured from neck to ankle. Then did the math :D
